LAMDA Classes
With over 30 years of experience, we proudly offer LAMDA (London Academy of and Dramatic Art) exams, which are accredited qualifications eligible for UCAS points. Our LAMDA Acting & Musical Theatre classes cater to children as young as 9 years old, providing a nurturing environment where they can explore their creativity. We focus on enhancing students’ confidence, knowledge, and performing arts skills, helping them develop not only as performers but also as individuals. Our instructors guide students through the LAMDA syllabus, ensuring they receive comprehensive training that fosters a love for the performing arts. You do not need to be a member of Starmaker or attend any of our other sessions to attend our LAMDA classes. Discounts are available to members of Starmaker and students of Stage School.

Full term dates are published in advance, if we do not have space available we will offer you a place on our waiting list.
LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) examinations provide young people with the opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills and performance ability in a supportive and structured environment. Through regular preparation and assessment, learners build self-esteem, resilience, creativity and the ability to express themselves clearly, skills that are invaluable both on stage and in everyday life. LAMDA examinations encourage discipline, commitment and independent learning while helping young people improve their public speaking, teamwork and presentation skills.
As students progress through the grades, they gain nationally recognised qualifications, with higher grades carrying UCAS Tariff points that can support university applications. Above all, LAMDA empowers young people to grow in confidence, discover their potential and develop lifelong skills that benefit them in education, employment and personal development.
