Yvonne Innes has been awarded the Chairman's Award for 2016. Yvonne has been involved in Starmaker since her daughter Charlotte became a member many years ago, she was joined by brothers Sam and finally Ben. She has recently taken over as Company Secretary from Alan Smith, which in itself is pressure after so many years. Yvonne also coordinates our show make-up team with our make-up designer Jo Stringer. Carol Hodgkinson has this year been awarded the Spirit of Starmaker Award, this is awarded to the person, each year that gave much more to Starmaker than is expected. Carol has been the hidden strength at Starmaker for almost three decades running the annual Summer School each year. She does a brilliant job as our Membership Secretary and sorts out auditions to the Theatre Company and arranges for the membership fees to be paid.
