Starmaker at Woodley Carnival
Starmaker today entered the Woodley Carnival procession with a walking Float. 8 members of Starmaker walked the 2.5 mile long journey dressed as Cowboys and Cowgirls (costumes supplied with thanks to the Costume Hire store, in sun, wind and rain handing out leaflets, lollies and collecting pennies on the way. The atmosphere along the way was absolutely brilliant and we loved every minute of it, already we are thinking about what to do next year. We also performed in the Carnival arena of the Memorial Ground in the early afternoon and had lots of enquiries from potential new members which was lovely to see. A couple of people won tickets to watch Legally Blonde and our Summer School in our free prize draws too, well done.
our free to enter prize draw. If you are in Mortimer on 2nd July, we look forward to seeing you then, and you will be able to win tickets again then too, as well as hearing us sing!
